Personal Information:

Position: Alumni Huang, Rui
Description:

Rui Huang is an alumnus of SEQAM. He completed his Ph.D. in 2008 from the Department of Computer Science, Rutgers University.  He received his B.Sc. degree at Peking University (1999), and M.E. degree at Chinese Academy of Sciences (2002). His research interests include graphical models, deformable models, and their applications in computer vision and pattern recognition.  He has been working on image- and video-based object segmentation by combining multiple cues under a graphical model framework, and some related problems such as shape modeling. He was also a member of the Center for Computational Biomedicine Imaging and Modeling (CBIM). He was an assistant professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China and is currently a research staff member at NEC Laboratories China.
